Products displayed and sold at the Made in Vermont Marketplace must adhere to all of the following State of Vermont regulations. NO exceptions.

Below outlines the State of Vermont’s definition of “Made in Vermont”:
- Agency standards, including, but not limited to, those of the Department of Health, the Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets related to licensing and inspection requirements, and the Vermont Attorney General’s Vermont Origin Rule.
- Facilities are located in Vermont. For the purposes of the Made in Vermont program only, “facilities” means a permanent, semi-permanent, or temporary commercial or industrial property owned or leased such as a building, plant, or structure, built, established, or installed for the performance of one or more specific activities or functions.
- Manufacturing is taking place in Vermont. For the purposes of the Made in Vermont program only, “manufacturing” means the production of articles for use from raw or prepared materials by giving to these materials new forms, qualities, properties, or combinations, whether by hand-labor or by machinery.

Below are the Show Policies. Please be sure to review prior to registering your company.
VBM reserves the right to restrict or prohibit exhibits that are determined, to be objectionable. In the event of any prohibition, VBM will not be liable for any refunds or other exhibit expenses.
Discounts offered to Vermont businesses who are members to a specific organization may be revoked if the exhibitor cancels its membership with their organization before the close of the show.
No one under the age of 18 years of age will be admitted unless accompanied by an adult.
Booth sharing is not permitted.
Exhibitor badges must be worn at all times.
Businesses assigned exhibit space may solicit business within the exhibit area and hand out promotional material.
Exhibitors may not solicit business away from another booth.
Exhibitors must abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton Burlington Vermont.
No booth displays shall exceed the size of the space in which it is located.
Each exhibitor is entitled to a reasonable sightline from the aisle regardless of the size of booth.
Exhibitors with more than one booth should also be able to effectively use as much of the total floor space as possible as long as they do not interfere with the rights of others.
Electrical is available with the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton Burlington Vermont. An order form will be included with your registration confirmation materials.
Cancellation of booth space will be refunded in full before 30 days from the event. No refund will be granted after October 20, 2021.
If the Made in Vermont Marketplace trade show is cancelled or postponed by reason beyond the control of VBM, exhibitor will be refunded only that portion of its payment which remains after payment by VBM of all expenses and losses caused by such cancellation or postponement, at the discretion of VBM Management.
Vermont Business Magazine shall not be liable for any damage to the property of or loss of business to exhibitor or any person using its allocated space, or for any loss by theft or other means. Exhibitors expressly releases and discharges VBM from any liability whatsoever, on account of any matter or thing arising out of, incident to, or connected with the Made in Vermont Marketplace trade show.
SPIRIT EXHIBITORS ONLY – Included with your confirmation Show Kit will be an application for a temporary event liquor license and directions for completion and submission. The cost for this license is $35, and application MUST be turned in to the town of South Burlington 10 days prior to show. Any exhibitor who does not comply will not be able to exhibit, and all fees paid will not be refunded.
